Jarrod’s role as Pico Chairman, Founder and Co-CEO has constantly been evolving since the Pico’s inception in 2009. Jarrod defines the company vision and leads the executive team on business strategy and execution. His responsibilities include interacting with clients and investors, reviewing and discussing product innovation and global expansion, and ensuring organizational stability. Most importantly, Jarrod is committed to listening to clients, a core principle that is directly responsible for Pico’s growth.
Jarrod has over 20 years of experience in institutional trading. Prior to founding Pico, Jarrod served as Global Head of Electronic Trading at Merrill Lynch, where he oversaw the business from its inception and was responsible for sales, trading, risk, execution service, product development and quantitative analytics for these products worldwide. Before his work on Wall Street, Jarrod served as a product engineer, performing semiconductor research at Intel.
Jarrod is a member of the Yale School of Engineering Leadership Council and serves on the Operating Board for the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale (CITY), providing mentorship to Yale student entrepreneurs. Jarrod holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Yale University and an M.S. in electrical engineering from Columbia University.
Frank is an experienced business executive with a successful record
in delivering corporate growth through strategic, operational, and
technology transformations in global financial services. As Co-CEO of
Pico, Frank partners with Chairman, Founder, and Co-CEO Jarrod Yuster,
to ensure Pico remains the market leader in financial technology
infrastructure provision and analytics. Together they lead the company’s
strategy, vision, and culture.
Prior to Pico, Frank served as CEO, president, and board member of
Investment Technology Group, previously NYSE: ITG, a global financial
technology innovator and brokerage solutions provider offering trading,
analytics, and workflow technology to institutional asset managers,
hedge funds, investment banks, and broker/dealers worldwide. Earlier in
his career, Frank was the Managing Director and global leader of JP
Morgan’s Executive Services; Managing Director at Barclays Capital and
Lehman Brothers. He gained valuable strategic, operations, and
technology consulting experience at Andersen Consulting, now known as
Accenture, and Booz Allen & Hamilton.
Frank holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Boston University, an M.S. in operations research from Columbia University, and an M.B.A. from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. He has held series 3, 4, 7, 24, 55 and 63 securities licenses. He serves on the Boston University College of Engineering Dean’s Leadership Advisory Board.
As Pico’s Chief Administrative Officer, Marc guides Pico’s global growth and operations in close partnership with the Co-CEO’s. Marc is responsible for Pico’s Business Management, Investor Relations, Marketing and Procurement teams. In addition, he oversees the firms corporate development and strategic planning activities. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on leading business and operations functions that support electronic trading.
Prior to Pico, Marc served as the Chief Operating Officer of electronic trading services, market structure and strategic investments at Wells Fargo Securities where he oversaw areas such as program management, product implementation, compliance, and marketing.
Marc graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego with a B.A. in Public Justice. He also holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the Gabelli School of Management at Fordham.
Kristen brings over 25 years of legal experience to her role as General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Pico. She is responsible for the company’s legal function, overseeing all legal aspects within the firm. Her day-to-day role includes providing guidance to senior management on legal and compliance matters, leading corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives, providing direction on corporate strategy, managing litigation, and outside counsel, developing and protecting the firm’s intellectual property, and leading firmwide and corporate policies that touch legal and compliance matters.
Kristen is Executive Sponsor of the Pico Women’s Network, the firm’s first affinity group, as well as Advisor to Pico’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Prior to joining the firm in July of 2017, Kristen’s former General Counsel role was at the iconic video game company, Atari, Inc. She began her legal career at the Dun & Bradstreet subsidiary, RH Donnelley, and then joined the boutique intellectual property law firm, Fish & Neave, where she focused on patent litigation.
Kristen received her undergraduate degree in politics from New York University (Presidential Scholar) and her J.D. from Pace University School of Law.
As Chief Technology Officer, Roland is responsible for product management and data science. As Head of Pico's Asia Pacific (APAC) entity, he also oversees all sales, operations, and engineering in the region and communicates client needs to drive Pico's Asia expansion efforts.
Prior to joining Pico, Roland managed European and Asian Trading Operations for a high-frequency trading firm in London. Roland worked for Eurex, specializing in low latency technologies and serving in market operations and business development roles in Chicago and Frankfurt.
Roland received his B.A. in Business and Combined Studies from London Metropolitan University and his M.B.A. from the United Kingdom's OU Business School.
As Pico’s Chief Financial Officer, Angelo holds a wide range of global financial responsibilities. In addition to taking the lead on treasury, business planning and forecasting, tax and risk management, he partners closely with senior management in creating valuable and creative pricing solutions for Pico’s clients. Angelo develops financial management strategies for the firm and brings over 30 years of economic experience in the financial services industry.
As the former Managing Director, Principal Accounting Officer and Global Controller for Investment Technology Group, previously NYSE: ITG, Angelo led financial due diligence processes, as well as planned and executed strategic and global growth initiatives. He managed global accounting and technical GAAP applications, SEC reporting and compliance, global tax planning and compliance, broker-dealer reporting and compliance, risk management and treasury. Furthermore, he functioned as the Chairman of the Board of ITG International Group Inc. Angelo started his career as a CPA at Arthur Anderson within the financial service audit practice.
Angelo was a former member of the Board of Directors of the SIFMA Financial Management Society.
Angelo holds his B.S. in Accounting and MBA in Finance from St. John’s University. He is a New York State Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Sandra is Pico's Chief Financial Officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC). She has focused her professional career in the software industry, holding senior financial roles including responsibility for legal and human resources. Prior to joining Pico, Sandra served as Vice President of Finance & Legal Affairs at Corvil. Other previous roles include Director at TIBCO Inc in EMEA and the United States, Vice President of Finance at ObjectStar, and Head of Finance at Cognotec, both with worldwide responsibilities.
Sandra has degrees in business studies from Trinity College, Dublin, and Irish law from Griffith College, Dublin. She is trained as a chartered accountant with PWC in Ireland and Bermuda, qualifying in 1991.
As Pico’s Global Chief Information Officer, Seetharam is the global technology leader of platform and network engineering, software engineering and corporate infrastructure. Seetharam drives efficiency by hiring high performance teams and promoting automation in build, deploy, deliver and support functions. He develops the strategy and vision for IT and engages with clients in understanding and potentially solving technology problems.
Seetharam brings over 20 years of experience to Pico. In his previous role, Seetharam served as the Head of Global Trading Technology at Citadel where he was responsible for leading focus on building trading systems supporting fundamental and quantitative strategies trading globally. Prior to Citadel, Seetharam was the CIO at Point72, responsible for driving technology transformation and innovation by deploying new technologies and new development methodologies. Earlier, he worked at SAC Capital as Co-CTO managing the Application Development stack, as well as the Front and Back Office Technology teams that he built during the initial years of SAC.
Seetharam attended Osmania and Bradely University, as well as receiving his M.B.A in Finance at The University of Connecticut School of Business.
As Chief Operating Officer, James focuses on leading business operations functions that support Pico in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). James is responsible for network and platform operations, implementation engineering, data center operations, logistics, Corvil operations and analytics, customer education and Salesforce in EMEA locally.
James brings extensive management and execution experience to Pico, having held a variety of senior positions at a pan-European and global level. James served as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Corvil, managing product engineering, global technical support, global supply chain management, logistics, corporate IT and client training and certification. Prior to Corvil, James worked as the Vice President for Worldwide Services at Adobe Systems, responsible for technical support and customer services on the creative and enterprise products. He was the CIO at JetForm and held a variety of other consulting and software engineering roles including, Oracle Practice Manager at ICL/Fujitsu.
James holds his M.B.A. from the Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin.
Brian’s extensive experience in building client-focused cultures spans 20+ years in the financial services industry focused on electronic trading, quantitative analytics and technology management. As Pico’s Chief Revenue Officer he is globally responsible for developing, resourcing and executing Pico’s sales strategy and fostering a client-centric, collaborative organization with a relentless focus on delivering a superior client experience.
Prior to joining the Pico team, Brian ran global Product Management, Technology, Quantitative Research and Marketing at Investment Technology Group. Preceding ITG, Brian was Managing Director and EMEA Head of Equities Execution Services at JP Morgan. Brian also held sales, product management and technology leadership roles at Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital, Credit Suisse and Bloomberg.
Brian received his B.S. from Penn State University.
Emma is Pico’s Chief Commercial Officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC). She oversees EMEA and APAC business management, commercial strategy and global delivery management to support Pico’s regional expansion and revenue growth. Emma’s responsibility ranges from Pico’s commercially facing functions to sales operations and procurement. Emma works closely and partners with Pico’s EMEA COO, regarding the overall EMEA Business and Operations.
Emma brings over 20 years of financial technology and data services experience to Pico. She has an extensive background in building and leading global and regional sales teams, as well as broad industry knowledge and client relationships. Prior to joining Pico, Emma led the European Enterprise Sales Group and EMEA Feeds and Connectivity Sales organization at ICE/Interactive Data Corporation and held various positions at Thomson Reuters.
Emma received her Honours degree in Business Studies from Kingston University in London.
